STAGS BASKETBALL CLUB is the fastest growing youth basketball club in Milton. It was founded to promote the development of youth in the community of Peel and Halton region. Our goal is to provide basketball activities that offer social, recreational and physical developments. Our club is a not-for-profit incorporated corporation and governed by an all-volunteer parents and coaches. Our volunteers were screened, interviewed and have provided a Police Records Check (PRC) prior to working with the children. "No Touch Policy" is strictly enforced to avoid any misunderstanding.

STAGS is affiliated with the Town of Milton and working for the betterment of leisure activities in the community (www.milton.ca).

Stags is involved in the development and growth of amateur basketball in the province of Ontario and affiliated Member Club of Basketball Ontario (www.basketball.onca). 

Associated with Steve Nash Youth Foundation (www.stevenash.org).

Current member and good standing with Peel-Halton Youth Basketball Association (www.phyba.ca).

Stags head coach is associated with Five-Star Basketball, best basketball camp in North America since 1966; through its camps, Five-Star has given thousands of its graduates the opportunity to play college and pro ball - More than any other organization out there. More than 360 Five-Star participants have played in the NBA, this includes Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade, Vince Carter, Sam Cassell, Rasheed Wallace, Alonzo Mourning, Grant Hill, Stephon Marbury, Elton Brand, Rip Hamilton, Ron Artest, Brad Miller, Isiah Thomas, Patrick Ewing & Moses Malone (www.five-starbasketball.com).

The important aspect of Stags Basketball Club has been the combination of experience and technical knowledge of our coaching staff. Our developmental basketball program was uniquely prepared to challenge our players to be learners while pursuing to improve their skills.  Our head coaches are NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program) (www.coach.ca) certified and offers a vast array of experiences in the game of basketball, from former college players to coaching competitive basketball.
