Milton STAGS Basketball works very hard to make a positive impact on our communities by providing opportunities to (4) active Stags members (boys & girls) ages from 5-14 to attend the "2009 Mega Hoops Mania Basketball Clinic" sponsored by the corporations, companies and individuals for the purpose of encouraging and supporting their interest in advancing their basketball skills and life-skills instructions.
Every year, Ontario Basketball runs Mega Hoops skill development clinics throughout the community for children 5 to 14 years old. These clinics are designed to increase participation and skill levels in Ontario's basketball community.
This year, Mega Hoops Mania will be hosted at Durham College on March 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
In past years, Mega Hoops Mania has been fortunate enough to have Toronto Raptors coach Jay Triano, Raptors player Joey Graham and Canadian men's national team player Jermaine Anderson attend. Ontario Basketball looks forward to bringing more dedicated basketball role models into the community for a unique opportunity to interact with Mega Hoops Mania participants.
Milton Stags Basketball is offering scholarships to (4) of it's active house league members (2 NBA, 2 NCAA Divisions) to attend the "Mega Hoops Basketball Clinic" sponsored by corporations through Stags Basketball.

The name of the (4) recipients will be announced and published in Stags website on Monday,March 2, 2009.
The recipient will received the following:
Hoops Playbook, Personalized Membership Card, Nike-Tshirt, Spalding Basketball, Nike Pen and (5) hours of quality training from top notch coaches.
